Our Medium Sized Drinking Horn has proven to be our biggest selling item in our entire range. We have decided to expand this range by offering a wider variety of medium sized drinking horns by including a range of decorated medium horns with either carved, burnt or brass decorations.

We commissioned this Celtic Boar design especically for the Red Knight as a club horn for the Order of the Boar but it would also make a great horn for pig hunters, re-enactors and anybody else who likes Celtic mythology. This is our DH 2 Medium Drinking Horn with Boar added.

The Horn is about 30 cm long and has a capacity of about 250 -350 milliltres.

The horns have been boiled and cleaned thoroughly, waterproofed and then polished. so you can drink out of them straight away although we recommend a quick rinse with warm water before you use them for the first time.

Each horn comes with a hand forged iron stand to allow it to be stood upright on a bench, table or on the ground. If you want a plain wooden stand please specify this with your order. Note that for this size of horn the wooden stand is not quite as stable.

We also provide a leather belt holder which you can purchase separately.

Also cleaning your drinking horn with some form of natural oil occassionally will increase its life, Being a natural product the shape and colour will vary from item to item.
