This mid/late 14th century medieval bascinet is an ideal helmet for a heavily armoured knight. Historically inspired with correct bascinet profile.
This is a very popular helmet type with medieval battle re-enactors and jousters because of its and good balance between protection and mobility. The visibility is great too. Just attach one of our chainmail aventails (sold separately) to its vervelles, and you will get a good level of head and neck protection.
The helmet is handmade from sturdy 14-gauge (2mm) mild steel, lined with a comfortable and secure padded liner. A large circumference makes it fit almost all head sizes.
