Product Details

This is a helmet from the Vendel period (650 AD to 800 AD) and was common in Scandinavia and on the British islands. It was also called a "Nordic Comb Helmet".

This is another impressive piece of kit with a 'spectacle' or 'googles' guard to protect the eyes. It comes with a fine butted spring steel "camail" to protect the lower half of the head and the entire neck.

It comes with an adjustable liner and the 1.6mm steel version weighs 4.15 kg.

Like all the othe Lord of Battles helmets that we recommend, the overall construction and craftsmanship is outstanding. It has a 68cm forehead circumference and is made from 1.6mm (16 guage) mild steel.

A padded arming cap should be worn with this helmet
