Product Details

These joined sleeves make perfect protection for your arms when you want to wear maille sleeves without actually overburdening you with a full maille shirt under your cuirass. It has a convenient and popular design in the 14th and 16th centuries. It  was commonly used by men at arms or even foot soldiers wearing cuirass and brigandine to avoid being over-encumbered by the weight of their armour.

This mail half hauberk is intricately handmade from 17 gauge flat mild steel rings with a diameter of approx. 9 mm each, riveted using wedge rivets alternating with solid rivets for increased strength.
