These lost-wax cast Norman prick spurs embody the spirt of the Norman cavalry who charged up Senlac Hill on that fateful day in 1066 to break the Anglo-Saxon shiled wall at Hastings to change trhe course of world history forever.
While these spurs are fully functional, as a rider myself I would not use thm on my own horses. This is because they are a highly accurate replica with the pricks being really sharp. So if you want to use them for riding, I would suggest blunting the spurs - unless you are a VERY experienced rider.
However, they are an excellent dress accessory while on foot if you portray a knight or a cavalryman from this period.
They are 13 cm long and 7 cm wide at the widest point.
