Belt pouches were common throughout most historical periods to carry personal items in.
They came in many forms and this large belt pouch is of a generic style that was common across many periods and cultures.
It has a large capacity so you can carry a range of items in it. In this one I can carry my fire starting kit, my armour repair and sewing kit and some 'living history' items like a small horn cup, dice, and,a purse for medieval coins and still have room to spare for my modern essentials such as wallet, phone and car keys.
If you are a craftsman you can carry many of your craft items in it and if you are a first aid officer for a club you can carry a basic first aid kit in it.
This large pouch is handcrafted like all of our items so the ones we carry in stock may be slightly different in apperance from the one photographed here.
They are also look great as costume accessories for film and theatre productions and also make great gifts.
