These "S" shaped hand forged iron hooks are 10 cm by 5 cm and are ideal for any period from ancient to almost modern times.
Ideal for re-enactment campsites, film sets, theatre sets, etc.
They were common in both campsites, buildings and markets to suspend items from. These items could be anything from cauldrons over a camp fire or oven, a lantern through to market goods.
The hooks are plain iron and may rust so should be lightly oiled from time to time.
