(The Size M are 80 cm long at the front and 70 cm long at the back. The diameter of the opening at the top is 60 cm and the diameter at the bottom is 40 cm but can be opened as there are laces.) 

Product Details

The padded legs can be worn as a standalone item of armour for any period or applciation. It could also be under loose clothing or under some plate leg armour.

We find in mounted reenactment combat or in mass foot combat that the lower legs are vulnerable and the padded legs helps to mitigate all but the strongest blows.

The padded legs are contracted in the same way as our gambesons with 3 layers of cotton batting sandwiched between an inner and outer later of cotton.
