Gothic Armour was a popular style of armour in England and Germany during the late 15th Century. It was influenced by the peaks and ridges of Gothic architecture and art of the period and by the 1480's it was considered to be the best armour in Europe. It was worn by knights and nobles on both sides in the Wars of the Roses where it afforded excellent protection against the arrow storms associated with the battles of this period.
Our Lord of Battles are hand crafted from 1.6 mm (16 gauge) polished mild steel and feature a high level of articulation on account of the many decorated overlapping plates that are rivetted together to allow for maximum mobility and protection.
They come with a pair of soft leather gloves are stitched/glued into place allowing them to be worn and are one size only which will fit all but the largest of hands.
I have seen many replicas of these gauntlets and have been reluctant to sell them because of their quality and lack of robustness. However these are by far the best example of a non-custom made pair that I have seen. They are very well made and will withstand heavy style medieval reenactment combat.
