Product Details

Round headed walking canes were fashionable in the Victorian era and early 20th century. They were often made from solid brass or another metal so the cane could serve as a self-defence tool in the dangerous back streets of any major city at the time.

This particular cane really captures the spirit of the Victorian inventor. It is aslo a great accessory for a Steampunk costume.

The brass knob has a small screw attached to a chain keeper. Loosening this screw allow you to slide the ring that the screw is attached to upwards, revealing a small telecope in a pivoting mount. The tip of the knob is a lens cap and once you remove that you have a (very) low power functional telecope with an adjustible eye piece to allow focusing.

The shaft itself can be unscrewed into 3 pieces. If you remove the middle piece you have a short cane that is 70 cm long. If you remove the middle and bottom piece you have a short baton that is 40 cm long.
