Historically we are not sure how hand weapons like axes and maces were carried. A modern solution is the frog wth iron ring which is suspended from a belt and the weapon threaded through the iron ring to make it quickly accessible and easy to carry.
This frog with single belt strap is for axes, maces and secondary weapons. It is 15 cm by 4 cm (including belt straps) and comes in brown leather.
Ideal for anybody practising any form of medival combat.
