Historically we are not sure how hand weapons like axes and maces were carried. A modern solution is the frog wth iron ring which is suspended from a belt and the weapon threaded through the iron ring to make it quickly accessible and easy to carry.
This frog with double belt strap is for heavier axes and maces. It is 12 cm by 12 cm (excluding belt straps) and comes in either black or brown leather.
Ideal for anybody practising any form of medival combat.
