Our Viking/Germanic beard comb is based on an Iron Age find in the British Museum Portable Antiquties Scheme and is handcrafted from several peices of bone secured by brass rivets. It is 6 cm long and 5.8 cm wide.
These small combs were used for personal grooming and are generally associated with beards which in Viking/Anglo Saxon Society were a feature of pride for most men and were groomed meticulously. However, even for a modern day hipster this unqiue beard comb is very practical and is a great converation starter with the ladies.
It is also ideal for a child's comb.
