Manufactured from a single large piece of 16 gauge mild steel, this is a classic styled strong and sturdy cuirass supported by good quality leather straps at the back. It is designed to be worn over our 15th Century Arming Doublet or 15th century Gambeson.

We offer it in 1.6mm steel and can get it made in 2mm steel. The price we have listed is for 1.6mm steel which is the minimum thickness that we recommend for jousting and re-enactment combat.
