Product Details

Simple 1-piece paildrons appeared in the early/mid 14th century as a reponse to improved weapons that exposed the vulnerablities of maille armour - especially around the joints. Pauldrons were first forged from a single piece of steel to cover the points of the shoulders.

Our pair of simple pauldrons are made from 16 g meild steel and have two holes to lace them to your maille or gambeson using arming points/aglets. They also have black leather edging to help prevent the edge of the rondel catching on the maille links when you move as well as providing a bit of decoration.

Price includes GST and tracked postage within New Zealand.
