This horn has a natural unpolished finish and has only been lightly sanded to bring up more of the natural imperfections. It is a more historical finishsuitable for the historical reeneactor or just for anybody who wants a more realistic look.
There are two versions of this horn:
400ml capactiy with a handforged iron bipod stand
700ml capacty with a handforged tripod stand
The photo is indicative of the horns in this range. They can vary to almost all black/dark grey to light off-white/browns.
The horn has been sealed internally with a food grade varnish on the inside so it can still be used to drink from.
Also cleaning your drinking horn with some form of natural oil occassionally will increase its life, Being a natural product the shape and colour will vary from item to item.
