The sling is one of the forgotten weapons of the ancient world. But in its day the cling was one of te most feared and deadly weapons around. It was easy to make and to master with a bit of practice. It was used to protect life stock from wolves and other predators as well as on the battlefield.
This 165 cm (66″ long) sling is painstakingly braided by hand from jute (a cord sourced from plant material) to enure its authenticity and durability. It is fully functional and well-designed with a perfectly sized cradle to hold your sling bullets or stones.
