1 kg packet of solid maiile links in mild steel. These are in 9mm / 17 gauge which is our default offering for all of our maille products.
They come in two finishes - natural finish and blackened finish.
Alternating solid / riveted maille allowed for a quicker and cheaper construction time at the expense of not being as strong as fully riveted maille. However, it was a common alternative for both knights and lower class soldiers when time and cost was an issue. These solid rings can be used with either round or wedge rivets.
Having some loose maille links of the type that your garments are made of allows you to rapair any damage from use as well as tailoring our standard maille garments to fit you better or to personalise them.
