The comnined rune design on this tankard repenents Gungnir - the Spear of Odin. Odin's spear Gungnir is an important symbol in Norse mythology and culture. The spear is unbreakable, and this represents Odin's power and authority. The spear was also so powerful that it always hits its target symbolizing the god's wisdom and strategic thinking in battle.
It is handmade from ethically sourced domestic cattle and has a capacity of approximately 600 ml. It is sealed with a food grade varnish and is suitable for drinks up to 20% alcohol content.
Please avoid dishwashers and hot liquids and only wash with cold or lukewarm water. For a longer life, you can treat with bees’ wax from time to time. Please note this is a natural product that wears over time, the bottom may start to leak. This is easily fixed by applying a food grade varnish to around the interior base of the tankard.
