This is a pure fantasy axe as double bited axes (two edges) are not effective in combat and apart from some use in early Minoan culture were never used apart as a forestry axe. However it is popular in medieval-fantasy books and films and this is a great axe to have as part of your collection for this genre.
However, it is a fully functional axe with hand forged blades made from EN45 spring steel. The edges are semi-sharp so they can be blunted for re-enactment use or sharpened further for cutting wood.
The head is head by a friction grip and an iron rivet to the shaft.
