The swords, axes and most of our other weapons are made from EN45 High Carbon Steel tempered to a Rockwell harness of 52 - 55. EN45 is a silico-mangnese spring steel widely used in the manfacture of vehicle leaf srpings and knives. The majority of modern re-enactment swords and other weapons are made from this material and tempered to the same hardness.
We reserve the right to not sell any of our weapons if we feel that they run the risk of being misused.
